IBIZA SMOKE RESTAURANT

Nestled deep in the Japanese mountains, paella is the specialty of this restaurant. The grandfather, a hippie from the good old days, brought this culinary specialty from Ibiza to his own island, Kyushu. His sons have taken up the torch, and with the help of a whole community, they strive daily to make this place come alive through culture and especially music because, as is the case everywhere, the countryside is emptying out. Everything is going awry as well, with these ever more powerful rains that swell a river a little too much, carrying everything in its path. But that doesn't mean they're going away. If they have to start all over again, they'll start all over again. The impermanence of things is a rule they've always been subject to.
